We may not see much snow, but the holiday spirit is alive and well in Southern Highlands! Celebrate the start of the season at this year’s Winter Festival and Tree Lighting on Tuesday, November 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Southern Highlands Corporate Center (11411 Southern Highlands Parkway).

Held annually the week after Thanksgiving, the festive celebration has become a popular way to kick off the holidays, providing a welcome opportunity for neighbors to gather in the spirit of the season as well as for Las Vegas residents to visit Southern Highlands.

Join us for an evening of photos with Santa, caroling by the Desert Oasis Choir, one-of-a-kind crafts, hot cocoa, cookies, photo booth, kids’ coloring contest—and of course the official Southern Highlands tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Southern Highlands Community Association, the annual event also benefits Operation Warm Heart, a private, nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to the local airmen and their families of the Nellis and Creech military community. While Operation Warm Heart helps military families year-round, during the holiday season, the organization also donates turkeys and toys to help bring holiday cheer to those in need.
